Ray Ly of the Human Resource Development and Training site of the Nottingham Business School in the UK characterizes this hrd-links page as "An international listing originating in the Netherlands, well worth a visit", while performance technologist

Jack Zigon refers to this web site in his Links to Performance Measurement-Related Sites as a place that "includes links to sites in the US and across the world".

Gervis.net is also linked by Eric Snyder at the T&D links on the TCM Training & Development Community Centre.  Snyder wrote in the trdev-l of June 3 2000: "My good friend Gerrit Visser in the Netherlands has created another great resource for us.  This is the best gateway on Virtual Communities I've seen".

And on Nov. 6 Bernie wrote in Co-Working's Tool of the Day 'Hence our growing interest in and appreciation for the contributions of resources like Gerrit Visser's' collection of e-learning e-links at e-learning.start4all.com. e-Learning2000.start4all  was commented by Bernie DeKoven in CoWorking Connections Vol.2 number 15. on December 31 2000. 

Virtualcommunities was also described as : "Un sito con un link dal titolo "Cyberculture" da non perdere" or at another place it says : "Ugens hotte link: Virtual communites.start4all (http://virtualcommunities.start4all.com/) -- et linkparadis med links til stort set alle aspekter af communities".
